Review – Nandos – DLF Mall of India

Expensive but different, and defintely worth a try.

Me, Mota and Owl were roaming in Mall of India looking for a restaurant to have dinner. We were in mood for having non veg with a difference. Thats when we came across Nandos.

Nandos is a South African restaurants chain, specializing especially in Portuguese style Peri Peri chicken dishes. Definitely seemed different so we headed inside to give it a try.

The first thing that struck us were prices – defintely on the higher side. After much debate and discussion amongst the 3 of us, we opted for Espeteda Carnival with two sides – CharGrilled veggies and Peri Peri wedges, Creamy Cashew Chicken Naan and Creamy Cashew Paneer Naan, two Madeira Red and Citrus bliss drinks. Veg options were very very limited so not a place for vegetarians.
The presentation was awesome, specially of Espeteda Carnival. The quanitity at first look seemed pretty less but it was just sufficient for the three of us. But most important of all, all the items were delicious. The indulgence costed us approx Rs 2100.

At 700 Rs on an average per dish, Nando’s is defintely costs on the higher side but if you are looking for something different, then its defintely worth a try.
